The low resistance measurement methods for the contact resistance of connectors and the contact resistance of relays used for small signals are developed according to JIS standards and IEC standards, respectively. The resistance meter RM3545 can be used for corresponding low current resistance measurement (dry circuit test). In order not to damage the oxide layer of the contact part, measurements ranging from 0.1 μ Ω to 1k Ω can be taken at open circuit terminal voltage below 20mV and test current below 1mA, which is suitable for contact resistance inspection.
